The university has secured first place among all the state universities of Uttar Pradesh, which is a testimony to its excellence.
On this occasion, the Higher Education Minister congratulated the Vice Chancellor, all the teachers, students and staff of the university for this excellent achievement and appreciated their continuous efforts. He said that this success will set a new benchmark in the field of higher education in the state.
The Nature Index Ranking assesses institutions that make significant contributions to high-quality journals of natural sciences. In this ranking, Deendayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University has secured 103rd position among all higher education institutions in India and 47th position in the category of universities. This achievement confirms the advanced level of the university in education and research.
